Business Visitor
The B-1 business visitor visa permits temporary entry to the United States for business-related activities such as attending conferences, negotiating contracts, consulting with business associates, or participating in professional meetings. Unlike work visas, B-1 holders cannot receive payment from a U.S. source or engage in productive employment. The visa is typically issued for short-term stays and requires proof of business purpose and intent to return home.
